History: In October 2001 Apple released iPod, an extremely advanced MP3 walkman with a capacity of up to 1,000 MP3 songs. The FireWire port guaranteed the fastest possible data transfer between Mac and iPod. In March 2002, Apple released an updated revision of the iPod with 5 or 10 GB capacity, equalizer support and contact function (address book).
